Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead

Directed by Nyk Sutter

Good Grief!  Some of our favorite comic strip icons reach their teenage years, and life is not easy.  CB, CB’s sister, Van, Matt, Beethoven, Tricia York, Marcy and Van’s sister, all go through the typical and atypical problems associated with maturing outside the funny papers.

November 12-14 & 18-20

Tickets are $10 for Adults, $7 for Students (with ID)

A Christmas Carol (Readers Theatre)

Adapted & Directed by Roberta Koch

Famous the world over, the often bizarre and ultimately heart-warming story of Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and the others needs no detailing here, however, elements of inventiveness and brilliant theatricality which enhance and strengthen its timeless virtue are showcased throughout the evening.

December 3-5 & 9-11

Tickets are $10 for Adults, $7 for Students (with ID)

Theatre Festival

Directors to be Announced
Directed by Sean Howell

The intention is to solicit original one-act plays, both locally and non-locally through use of the internet. The very successful format from last year, returns to the Winter Playhouse.

January 21-23 & 27-29

Tickets are $10 for Adults, $7 for Students (with ID)

Angels in America:  Millennium Approaches

Directed by Dani Keil

Tony Kushner’s Angels in America is that rare entity: a work for the stage that is profoundly moving yet very funny, highly theatrical, yet steeped in traditional literary values, and most of all, deeply American in its attitudes and political concerns. Kushner tells the story of a handful of people trying to make sense of the world. Prior is a man living with AIDS whose lover Louis has left him and become involved with Joe, an ex-Mormon and political conservative whose wife, Harper, is slowly having a nervous breakdown. These stories are contrasted with that of Roy Cohn, a fictional recreation of the infamous American conservative ideologue who died of AIDS in 1986.

February 18-20 & 24-26

Tickets are $10 for Adults, $7 for Students (with ID)

5 Women Wearing the Same Dress

Directed by Paula Graves

During an ostentatious wedding reception, five reluctant, identically clad bridesmaids hide out in an upstairs bedroom, each with her own reason to avoid the proceedings below. As the afternoon wears on, these five very different women discover a common bond in this celebration of the female spirit.

March 18-20 & 24-26

Tickets are $10 for Adults, $7 for Students (with ID)

Season Tickets are $50
